July 4th and Cousins

Grandma D and Uncle B came for a visit over the 4th. Cason got spoiled and Terry and I got to go out while Grandma D babysat. It was so nice! I'm always sad when all my Cason helpers leave. We grilled some tasty burgers and watched fireworks on our balcony.  Luckily our neighbors who usually continue the fireworks all night either moved or went somewhere else.  Cooper is the calmest dog but can't handle fireworks. So much nicer this year!

Terry bought Cason a pool for the backyard. He is kind of over it now but we had a few fits when it was time to come inside.
Cason also loves the hose. The night before we spent a certain amount of time hanging out on the back porch while he drenched himself.

Our neighborhood had a pool party and we actually went. I think it might be the first time ever. It actually wasn't bad. Cason and Terry enjoyed the kiddie pool. If you look close you can see Terry's 3 shades of tan. I really like the 2nd shade from his cut shirts. ;) I will probably be in trouble for that!

In between the 4th and meeting up with cousins a few random shots of our cute guy. There is a trend to most of the shots. Cason's belly...he is pretty proud if it and pats it all the time. Cracks me up!

Terry was watching his show and Cason watching some Elmo on the phone. It was a compromise for a tired kid. He loves Elmo. If he really wants to watch he will push you out of the way. He also loves the book in front of him. He will turn every page back and forth forever. It has sound but I don't think he really cares.

Terry was into the Duck Commander before it was cool. He was about 15-20 or so years early on that one and watched it on his VCR. I tried to watch it then and i can tell you it is much more entertaining now. He still has his duck calls and pulled it out for Cason. Terry would do his call and tried to show Cason how to blow in it to make noise. Cason put his mouth to it and went "hmmm hmmm hmmm". Close enough.

Finally my brother, Angie and the kids went to San Antonio with Angie's family and made a stop in Austin so we met them for dinner. There was a splash pad in front if the restaurant so the kids were entertained.

Brooklyn splashing Cason and random lady and/or her kid in all my shots.
One of the few without a bunch of random kids.
Connor was loving this move.
